"Nobody knows. The feed is tied into everything. Your body control, your emotions. Your memory..." (Pg 170)
Oh em geek! I can't believe Violet collapsed, like she had an attack. I was so worried. I was so worried that after I read that part, I had to stop and breathe. I thought I was going insane. I notice I was too into the book. I couldn't stop saying "OH EM GEEK" and I kept flipping through the pages. Althought I was so into that part of the last chapter in part three of the book, once scene kept replaying over and over in my head. The scene was when Titus got his upcar. I thought that was so stupid. Just because he was feeling stupid (which he is stupid, well, most of the time)it doesnt mean his parents should buy him an upcar just to make him feel better. That was just so stupid. If I told my parents I felt stupid and they bought me a car, I am going to be like "You guys are not real parents." That also reminds me- it also shows how dumb Titus's parents are.
The upcar may be stupid but when Violet said, "Maybe these are our salad days" (pg60), it made me wonder. Violet said that when Titus and her was eating dinner together at the hospital. I think she is referring to those days when people didn't have the feed and everyone did everything on their own because all of them got hacked and now they can't even do anything without it so finally it was one of those days where they didnt use their FEED. Since, both of them was happy right at the moment, it seems like everything was normal and happy therefore she might refers it to that also. I might be wrong, but when she say "salad" it actually made me thought of how salad is compare to a day. Salad is calm, colorful, healthy and just a peacful food to eat, you can say. Therefore, if you have one of those salad days it is a good day where you actually do things by yourself.

When they were in the hospital, and Titus was looking at the boat picture and said that it was boring, it made me want to yell at him because it was a piece of art. I though that he was dumb. He was plain dumb yet he said that there was no one on the boat which describe how he felt right at that moment. He might have feel that without the FEED, he is lonely or alone. In class the other day, we were talking about how much Titus missed the FEED when he was at the hospital, and it made me realize that the characters in the book FEED is so ADDICTED to the FEED. This say that Titus is like the others where they always had rely on the FEED so much, that they can't even be entertain or they cant even do anything by themselves. I find that kind of sad. This book is really making me think that I shouldnt take things for granted. I also remember sitting in the classroom, and just thought that Titus is so stupid to the point where I wonder, "I hope this isn't going to be true because I like doing things on my own."
Utopia huh? Let's see if there is such thing.
